Well, Brazil wins their 5th World Cup this morning in Japan. They beat a very strong German team 2-0 with two goals by Ranaldo in the second half.

Well... Asylum Lan 8 has come and gone. Even though we couldnt have a complete OSLT showing, the OSLT's in attendence still had a good time. Zero, eurodeseo, and I united with a couple members (and good friends - Smooth and Gold) from Clan GummiBear and took the 1st place title in the UTCTF match. We decided to go with the moniker, OSLGT (Our Silly Little Gummi Team). We played two heated matches with the team X2H (Xeros 2 Heros). Darth, a member of X2H won the UT DM. It was really fun. I hope to play them again at LW13 in a month. Anywho... on to the pic.

| You know you missed me! I'd just like to celebrate my return to the free world, those damned Taliban holding me hostage just cuz i was badmouthing CounterStrike (oddly enough, they like to be the CT team...), the nerve of some ppl. Anywayz, also I'd like to announce the fully successful birth of Haley Saleen Fouch at 11:27 Friday, December 7th. At 8 pounds 3 ounces and 20 inches, she was born at Highland County Hospital. Contrary to local tradition, her parents had been married for many years, and conceived Haley on purpose due to their overwhemling desire to raise a child. Haley is the first grandchild to yonder's parents. Look for more news soon. |

Update.... Just for people that don't frequent the page, LanWar has opened up registration for LWXII. If you plan on going, and like me you didn't get the LW newsletter, cost has gone up to $30 this time. One reason is to cover the cost of redundant power due to the issues from LWXI. There are other reasons too, this is just the one that sticks out the most to me. Anywho... its still worth the $30 to me so I am going. Hope to see you guys there. I guess thats it for now. Laters and have fun. I'll think about how much I miss cold Ohio while I am sitting on the beach studying for my next set of exams. :P |

Well, the time is almost here. I leave for Ft. Lauderdale tomorrow. Two weeks of intense schooling. When I return, I hope to be the second OSLT to have his MCSE. Right now, I am a lowly MCP in NT Server. A little higher on the food chaing is our boy Zero, an MCP in Win2k. The top of the food chain is eurodeseo. I plan to match him! MCSE Win2K Track here I come!
Oh yeah! I saw today that the ETA for RTCW is 11-26-01. Time to save up! |

I'm going to hand out a big oops to myself. /me is retarded - there I said it. I can't believe that I forgot to back up the webserver, but I did. The last backup was made on 9-03-01. If you had an account on the message board before then, you will have to reregister.
On a better note, this also means that my FTP site will be back up soon. I am restoring all the data as we speak. Well, I guess thats it for now and thanx for the cooperation.

Well, Its kind of a sad moment right now. As of 10:50PM, August, 30 2001, my grandmother passed away. She was without a doubt the greatest woman... no, greatest person I ever had the pleasure to know. She was incredible. Always there to lend a hand if she could in anyway never wanting anything in return. She was a very humble person, but she always knew her place in life. I am gald to have known her as well as I did and it means even more to me to know that I was related to her. I wish there was something I could do or say to make people understand how important of a person she was not just in my life but in everything and everyone she had in her life. Anytime that she was around she would leave something that would make you feel better about yourself. She always had a way of picking up a broken spirit. I do miss and love my grandmother, but I know with all my heart that she is in a better place and has been reuninted with her husband.
Anyone who ever knew them together knows that right now they are walking hand in hand and talking about old times. I'm glad that they are finally back together because I know that she missed him so much. I cant really think of much more to add right now. I know that she will be greatly missed by all her friends and family.
On a personal note - This is directly to you Gran. You have meant more to me than anyone else I know. There was never a time in my life that I wasm't proud to be your grandson. I miss you very much. I wish that you weren't gone but time will go by and I will be O.K. You touched my life with the way that you lived yours and I hope that you know that. I love you. Goodnight and Goodbye.

Well, not a whole lot going on right now... Had some issues with Road Runner and power the past couple days but OSLT.net and the FTP server are back up and online. I think I'm going to get on my backups for a change. I don't want to loose everything again.
Work has been hammering us for the past two weeks... It wouldn't be that bad but there are two people out this week. Oh well, it looks great on a paycheck. I'm thinking about adding a review section here. Going to start reviewing hardware and what not. Jump on the forum and tell me what you think. I'd like to start doing profiles on people in the gaming scene as well. I want to make this site grow a little and see where I can go with it. I think yonderboy was working on a comic strip. I'll have to see if he wants to use this site for it since his yonderboy.net is up for sale. Ok, I'm outta here for today... Talk to everyone tomorrow!.... BEAR CLAW!

Heh... South Park has really pushed the envelope with their content. Its amazing with what they are getting by with. I have to say... I'm really impressed! That show is the greatest. I love a lot of what they are actually doing in the show. Its great seeing some of the messages they are presenting. The only show that hasn't pushed anything was the Terrence and Phillip episode. However, that episode does have one very memorable part.

Well, this morning we added to the webpage just a little. We updated
the history section with the email containing the conversation on how we got
our name. There are two sections there. One contains a small
portion of the email where the name was made and the other is the entire
email conversation we had. Ahhh.. those were the days. Right
before Christmas 1999.

We're on the way to lanwar 10. We will 0wn. Either stinky or Eurodeseo will win the Unreal Tournament tourney and OSLT's will win the UT CTF tourney without having a flag cap. I will update you tomorrow night on the results.
